Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Harter Family Medicine in Waterloo. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support our healthcare team in delivering high-quality services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in patient assessments and monitor vital signs. Prepare patients for examinations Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments as directed by healthcare providers. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding family medicine. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. Skills Excellent organizational skills Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems Strong attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset This position is full-time days. No nights, weekends, or holidays. Average weekly hours 32-36. We offer a supportive work environment and opportunities for professional growth. Requirements:
Requirements Certification as a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of family medicine procedures and terminology is a plus. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
