Certified Nursing Assistant Family Health Care - 3.6 Boise, ID Job Details Full-time $16 - $21 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Direct patient care Vital signs Electronic health records (EHR) management Phone communication Outpatient clinic experience BLS Certification Outpatient Healthcare infection prevention and control expertise Administrative experience Medical administrative support Injection administration Collecting samples for laboratory testing Basic life support Implementation of OSHA safety standards Cleaning Blood glucose monitoring Stocking Patient interaction Patient charting Care coordination CNA Referral coordination Vaccination administration Communication skills Entry level Client interaction via phone calls Full Job Description Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties Room patients and obtain vital signs, including height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, and temperature Document patient history, chief complaints, and relevant information in the electronic health record (EHR) Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during procedures as needed Perform basic clinical tasks such as: Point-of-care testing (e.g., glucose, urinalysis, rapid tests) Phlebotomy Administering injections and immunizations per protocol and scope of practice Clean and stock exam rooms, ensuring readiness between patients Maintain infection control standards and follow OSHA guidelines Administrative & Patient Support Assist with patient check-in/check-out processes as needed Coordinate referrals, labs, and imaging orders Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients under direction Respond to patient inquiries via phone or messaging systems Support care coordination and follow-up for chronic disease management Qualifications Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain) Previous experience in a clinic or outpatient setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred Preferred Skills Phlebotomy experience Experience administering injections/immunizations Familiarity with family medicine or primary care workflows Work Environment Fast-paced outpatient family practice setting Collaborative team environment focused on patient-centered care Opportunity to work with patients across all age groups
Pay:
$16.00 - $21.00 per hour
