Now Hiring:

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Cascadia of Boise is looking for a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our team of skilled nursing professionals!

Essential Functions:

• Assist nursing home residents with healthcare needs under the supervision of an RN or LPN.
• Answers nurse call system to determine resident needs and resolve issues within scope of work.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living (ADL's): o Dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care o Turning and positioning in bed, transitioning to/from wheelchair o Assisting therapy with range of motion and movement exercises
• Record and chart vital measurements including food/fluid intake and output.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Knowledge of relevant nursing care
• Friendly and professional bedside manner
• Multi-tasking and prioritization skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills

Qualifications:

• Current Idaho CNA Certification
• Current CPR Certification
• Six months experience in a long-term care setting preferred _____________________________
