Job Description

Overview We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) and part-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals committed to providing high-quality patient care in various healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in clinical skills, demonstrate exceptional empathy, and be adaptable to diverse care environments. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in supporting patient well-being, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all residents and patients. Duties Provide direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility. Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, accurately documenting all findings in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Support clinical staff by preparing patients for examinations or procedures using aseptic techniques and maintaining infection control standards. Assist with specialized care needs including Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, hospice support, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and perform phlebotomy procedures when necessary under supervision. Ensure patient safety by adhering to HIPAA regulations, maintaining confidentiality of medical records, and following all safety protocols. Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams in inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, or home & community care settings to deliver comprehensive patient-centered services. Requirements Current certification as a CNA with valid state licensure. Prior experience working in Skilled Nursing or Long Term Care Experience with POC Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) certification required. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health patients, and individuals with disabilities. Strong communication skills coupled with compassionate caregiving abilities to support patients' physical and emotional needs.
