Job Description

JourneyCare Hospice is seeking Hospice CNAs in Barrington, IL. New competitive salaries, immediate opening available, generous time off packages, 401K + match and so much more!
Qualifications:
Certified by the state as a nurse aide Maintains a current CPR Certification List on the state aide registry with a clear record able to deliver care to patients 18 years of age unless state law dictates otherwise Valid driver's license with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements or reliable transportation preferred
HOURS:
(3) 12-hour Shifts/Week 7PM-7:30AM Including Every Other Weekend and 3 Holidays/Year
LOCATION
: Barrington, IL. Now offering up to $26/hour
Night Shift Differentials:

The Hospice CNA-IPU (Certified Nurse Assistant - Inpatient Unit) works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patient's personal comfort needs at the unit. The CNA is responsible for observing the patient, reporting these observations, and documenting observations and care performed. Performing personal care needs after given a patient's assignment and attending to his/her requests promptly. Meeting safety needs of patient and using equipment safely and properly (foot stools, side rails, O2 etc.) Giving personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed lined as often as assigned Reporting on patient's condition and significant changes. Also aware of the caregiver or other individuals visiting with the patient and interpersonal issues Adhering to the organization's documentation and care procedures and standards of personal and professional conduct
