As a DSP Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and assisting DSPs in providing essential care and support to individuals in various settings. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to assist individuals with daily activities, promote independence, and contribute to enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities

• Assist DSP staff as they work with assisting individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for individuals.
• Engage individuals in social interactions and meaningful activities to support their emotional well-being
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and caregivers to ensure holistic care for individuals
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and document any changes in individual's condition Skills To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
• Proven track record in leadership role
• Experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing, senior care, or hospice care
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and practices related to direct support services
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks when necessary
• Proficiency in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the home or community care setting
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
