Medical Assistant/ Certified Nursing Assistant

We are a holistic pediatric practice dedicated to supporting children and families through a root-cause, whole-body approach to health. We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Assistant who thrives in a pediatric setting and values a more intentional, holistic model of care. This role blends clinical support with patient-centered service, requiring both efficiency and a calm, nurturing presence. This will be a full time role in our Crystal Lake office, with a rotating half day on Saturdays.

What You'll Do:

Welcome and room pediatric patients with compassion and patience Take vitals, update medical histories, and assist with provider visits Support functional lab testing, specimen collection, and other lab tests as needed Manage and organize lab orders, supplies, and patient follow-up Provide parent education and comfort measures to ensure a positive experience Collaborate closely with the care team to support smooth patient flow and exceptional care

Qualifications:

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA,) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Pediatric or family practice experience strongly preferred Warm, nurturing personality and ability to build trust with children and parents Interest in holistic, integrative, or functional medicine Attention to detail in maintaining accurate patient records. Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) software
