Category CNA- Certified Nursing Assistant Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a supportive healthcare setting. Your role as a Certified Nursing Assistant will be essential in ensuring high-quality patient care, assisting with daily activities, and maintaining a safe, clean environment.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Current and valid CNA certification recognized in Illinois Successful completion of accredited CNA training program Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital environment is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused setting Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Current CPR/BLS certification is an advantage Must be reliable, patient-centered, and able to adapt to changing environments
Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly Monitor vital signs and accurately document patient information Provide comfort and emotional support to patients and their families Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in all assigned areas Ensure infection control practices are consistently followed Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality care Support patient ambulation and help with the use of medical equipment as directed You will play an important role in patient care delivery, working in a team that values collaboration, respect, and high standards for quality.
