Job Description Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will: Function as an assistant to the nurses on the Med/Surgical floor and C.C.U. (as needed). Be responsible for ADL's and tasks as assigned by the nursing staff. Be able to lift patients with using appropriate body mechanics. Collect data about patients, and to utilize the computer to document appropriate care completed. Function as a team member offering suggestions for improvements and listening to requests. Work with others to determine priorities for patient care. (Is polite, positive and flexible.) Access to protected health information is limited to the minimum necessary to perform the duties of the job. Qualifications Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant course Good standing on Illinois Healthcare Worker Registry At least 5 years' experience working as a CNA preferred BLS certification Grade 14.
