Duties Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates while accurately documenting findings in electronic health record (EHR) systems Support medication administration under supervision and ensure proper medication documentation following HIPAA guidelines Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments in memory or behavioral health settings Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts and assistive devices to safely transfer patients with mobility challenges Observe and report changes in patient condition promptly to nursing staff or healthcare providers Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures like catheter care and wound management to prevent infections Engage in patient service activities that enhance overall well-being and comfort in inpatient, outpatient, or home care environments Requirements Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state regulations Experience working with diverse populations including long-term care residents, behavioral health patients, or individuals with disabilities Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) certification Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments like Level I Trauma Centers or ICU units with critical care experience preferred Strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide excellent patient service Compassionate caregiving attitude with a focus on patient safety and dignity Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care!
