50 per hour based on verified experience. If you have 2+ years of elder care experience , you start at the top of the range on day one. No 90-day probationary cut. No "we'll talk about it at the interview." About Springfield Homes We are a licensed Illinois Shared Housing Establishment operating under 77 Ill. Adm. Code 295. We provide person-centered care to six elderly residents in a small home setting. Our staff are CNAs, DSPs, and Personal Assistants working under written scope of practice with clinical supervision by a licensed Registered Nurse. We hire experienced caregivers and pay above market because we hire above market. What You'll Do Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transfers) Support residents during dinner service and evening meals Assist residents with self-administration of medications, per RN delegation and facility scope of practice Document care accurately in the resident record per facility protocol Follow each resident's individualized service plan and care directives Engage residents in conversation, activities, and meaningful daily routines Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment per infection control standards Communicate clearly with the supervising RN, Manager on Duty, and incoming shift staff Recognize and escalate changes in resident condition per facility protocol You will not administer medications. You will not run a 30-resident hallway. You will not be making clinical judgments alone. A supervising RN oversees clinical care, and a Manager on Duty answers the phone. What We Require Active Illinois CNA certification (current on the Illinois Health Care Worker Registry) OR active DSP credential 2+ years of verifiable elder care experience for top-of-range pay ($21.50/hr) availability required. Every other weekend for the selected shift applying for. Reliable transportation to Springfield, IL Ability to pass Illinois Healthcare Worker Background Check, TB clearance, and physical (per 225 ILCS 46 and IDPH §295) Professional appearance and communication Strong documentation skills and follow-through Comfort working in a small-home, structured, RN-supervised setting Less than 2 years of experience?
