Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our night shift team at Envive Healthcare of Berne. As a CNA at our facility, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily living activities, including delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents, and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment throughout scheduled shifts Help residents with personal hygiene, feeding, and serving nutritional supplements Observe residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse Document resident food and fluid intake, and maintain accurate records Assist with transporting residents within the facility and performing other tasks as needed Collaborate with nurses and other staff members to ensure the highest level of care Adhere to professional standards, facility policies, and federal, state, and local requirements and standards
Qualifications and Skills:
Current and valid CNA certification Excellent interpersonal skills Effective communication skills Good collaboration and teamwork skills Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities Keen attention to detail In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for a number of medical conditions Physical strength and stamina First aid and CPR certifications
