Job Description

Overview Join IU Health, Indiana's #1 Healthcare system! IU Health North in Carmel, IN is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Team Lead to support daily cath lab operations while remaining hands-on with patient care. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse or Radiology / Interventional Radiology Technologist with strong cardiac cath experience who enjoys leadership, coordination, and a fast-paced procedural environment. What You'll Do Scrub and circulate for all types of cardiac catheterization procedures Provide direct patient care and support throughout procedures Staff the cath lab and manage daily case schedules and patient flow Coordinate department traffic control to ensure efficient throughput Oversee inventory management and supply readiness Precept and support onboarding of new staff Collaborate with physicians, departments, and leadership to maintain smooth daily operations Serve as a clinical and operational resource for the team Schedule & Call 4 ten-hour shifts (4x10s),
Monday-Friday Hours:
6:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. Self-scheduling model No regularly scheduled nights or weekends
On-call:
~9 call shifts per month (subject to department needs)
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree is required. Requires 3-5 years of cardiac/cath lab experience. RN or Radiology/Interventional Radiology Technologist Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required. Requires advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification. Recommended Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Certification or equivalent. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
