This role involves delivering engaging classroom instruction, hands-on lab practice, and clinical supervision that complies with state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities :
Instruct students in accordance with KDADS-approved CNA curriculum and training guidelines Prepare and deliver engaging lessons, demonstrations, and practical skill labs Supervise students during clinical training at partner healthcare facilities Evaluate student performance and provide regular feedback, support, and remediation Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and clinical competencies Ensure classroom and clinical compliance with all state and federal standards Foster a respectful, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment Participate in staff meetings, training updates, and continuing education as needed
Qualifications :
Must have an active unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a long-term care setting. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Have a passion for teaching and mentoring future healthcare professionals. Ability to use or learn basic computer systems for attendance tracking and grading.
Pay:
$22.00 - $33.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
