Monitor vital signs and document medical information accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems like Epic or Cerner. Assist with specialized care needs such as medication administration, tube feeding, catheter care, and managing patients with Alzheimer's or dementia. Support patients with developmental disabilities or those requiring hospice or memory care by providing respectful and personalized attention. Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality and maintain precise medical documentation of care provided. Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are executed effectively. Respond promptly to patient needs and communicate clearly with team members to uphold the highest standards of safety and quality. Skills Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare procedures such as vital signs monitoring and medication administration. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation of patient records. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or those requiring specialized dementia or Alzheimer's care. Ability to perform complex caregiving tasks including tube feeding, catheter care, and handling medical records securely under HIPAA regulations. Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and provide compassionate patient support. Flexibility to work weekends consistently while maintaining high energy levels and a positive attitude throughout your shift.
