Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where your compassionate care and clinical skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients in a home like settings. Working for us you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care that promotes comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents that are afflicted with dementia and/or Alzheimer's . This position offers an engaging opportunity to utilize your medical knowledge and caregiving expertise while advancing your career in a supportive and dynamic environment. Duties Assist with daily patient care activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support for individuals with memory loss and/or receiving hospice care. Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic or Cerner Support medical procedures such as medication administration, and wound care following established protocols and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety and confidentiality Maintain detailed medical documentation and records of patient interactions, treatments, and observations in compliance with healthcare standards and legal requirements Assist nursing staff with assessments and basic physiology knowledge to support comprehensive patient care plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate home & community care services for individuals with disabilities or chronic conditions Follow infection control procedures diligently to prevent the spread of illness while providing compassionate care in a home like setting. Qualifications Valid certification as a CMA or CNA from the state of Kansas; prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care is preferred Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency procedures such as CPR Experience working with individuals with specialized dementia or Alzheimer's care is advantageous Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or ECP for accurate documentation and medical records management Ability to perform clinical tasks including vital signs measurement, medication administration confidently and safely Strong communication skills combined with a caring attitude to provide exceptional patient-centered care while adhering to HIPAA guidelines Flexibility to work various shifts; commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism Join us in delivering compassionate healthcare that transforms lives! Pay:
$11.50 - $12.00 per hour
