Job Opportunity:
Full-Time MA/CNA at SEK Urgent Care in Pittsburg, KS with Sign-on Bonus. SEK Urgent Care in Pittsburg, KS, is in search of a proactive, reliable, and energetic Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our clinic. The ideal candidate must hold the necessary certification and bring a passion for providing high-quality patient care. We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and energetic Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our clinic on a full-time, Monday-Friday basis. Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide general nursing care to patients, adhering to evidence-based standards. Assess and triage patients based on acuity, directing them to appropriate departments. Respond to emergencies and provide care based on acuity level. Accurately document all treatments and patient conditions. Respond to and document patient phone consultations. Educate patients and families on diagnostic procedures, medications, and wellness maintenance. Document procedures and supplies for billing purposes. Act as a patient advocate and assist in care planning. Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care. Maintain examination rooms and workspace cleanliness. Prepare supplies and assist providers as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
MA/CNA certification required. Experience in nursing care following established standards. Ability to assist physicians and staff in coordinating patient care. Demonstrated patience and maturity in handling patients. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong sensitivity to patient needs and anxieties. High level of personal and professional integrity. Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations. Proficiency in MS Office programs. On-site work required.
