Overview We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and experience working in diverse healthcare settings. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity. Duties As a CNA you will assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort. Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates, accurately documenting all findings in medical records or electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Point Click Care As a CNA you will provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a caring and respectful environment. Collaborate with nursing staff to identify changes in residents' conditions and report any concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of resident areas in compliance with infection control standards such as aseptic technique. Operate patient care equipment including Hoyer lifts and assistive devices safely and effectively. Skills Proven experience working as a CNA in settings such as long-term care facilities, assisted living, hospitals, or home care environments. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS). Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Point Of Care for accurate documentation. Experience caring for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease; knowledge of memory care techniques. Ability to perform catheter care, Peri care, Basic ADLs Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with patients of all needs Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
