Spiller Bowling Green Veterans Center is a skilled nursing Facility that cares for the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Veterans. Our mission is to serve Kentucky's Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity, and providing compassionate care. We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic Nurse Aide who possesses the desire to care for Kentucky's Veterans. We have 2nd and 3rd shifts available. Expectations include but are not limited to: Assist residents with personnel hygiene such as bathing, dental and oral care, and hair and nail care. Have an active status as a nurse aide on the KBN Nurse Aide Registry. Assist residents with bowel and bladder functions by escorting them to the bathroom, providing bedpan or portable commodes. Checks and records intake and output flow charts. Assist with meals and nourishments for residents requiring assistance and restorative dining. Perform total physical care to include assisting with meals, as well as helping to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of our Veterans. Measure and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respirations, height, as instructed. Collect and label specimens for laboratory analysis. This position, Warren County has an approved Locality Premium of $4.76 in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1). This job classification is approved for the following shift premiums, in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(2), which are applied to the base salary: Second & Third shift: 15%
