In this role, you will provide essential support to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being in our assisted living and memory care community. Your commitment to compassionate care will help enhance the quality of life for our residents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for senior care and creating meaningful experiences for older adults. Care Associate and/or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Profile Support our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, mobility, etc. Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress. Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs. Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining. Light or basic housekeeping and laundry tasks, as needed. Assist residents with medication reminders and ensure adherence to medication schedules as directed by nursing staff. Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team. Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy. Support residents in participating in recreational activities and social events. Document and report any changes in our residents' health status. Always respect and protect residents' privacy and confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
Education / Training

Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification preferred. Previous experience in a caregiving role, especially in assisted living or memory care, is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Basic understanding of personal care and safety protocols. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
