Job Description
Every weekend ward clerk is Full-time position, every Saturday and Sunday. The Unit Clerk is responsible for the daily operations of the Nurse's Station and assigned medical record duties. The Unit clerk also assists to keep the nurse station clean, in good working order, and promotes a home like atmosphere for the residents. The Unit Clerk reports all relevant observations to the Licensed Staff assigned to the unit in a timely manner. The Unit Clerk attends in-services and staff meetings as required. The unit clerk is responsible for answering phones, driving residents to dialysis or picking residents up from the hospital. Chauffer license and Licensed CNA is required for the position. The Unit Clerk is responsible to the Director of Nursing of the facility.
