The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience in various medical settings including dermatology, urgent care, and hospital medicine. This role requires excellent clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient service. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor vital signs and perform intake assessments to gather essential patient information. Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient interactions and medical histories. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding, anatomy, physiology, and emergency medicine practices. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes within the facility. Experience Previous experience in a clinical setting is required; familiarity with Level I or Level II trauma centers is preferred. Demonstrated expertise in medical-surgical nursing, geriatrics, internal medicine, or pediatrics (PICU) is advantageous. Experience with operating room (OR) procedures or urgent care environments is a plus. Proficiency in basic life support techniques and emergency response protocols is essential. Knowledge of X-ray procedures and the ability to assist with diagnostic imaging as needed is beneficial.
