Certified Nursing Assistant

DESCRIPTION PRINCIPLE DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

: Communicate a sense of caring, concern, and dignity for residents. Understand how to place decision-making in the hands of the residents whenever possible and appropriate. Make prompt and accurate judgments with regard to resident care and emergencies. Assist residents with ADLs (activities of daily living) for which they need assistance, such as bathing, combing hair, brushing teeth, shaving, dressing, ambulation, and toileting and laundry. Follow all infection control policies. CNA to

QUALIFICATIONS :

Must possess a current Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the Massachusetts State regulations - required Good judgment and decision making. Communication skills including the ability to communicate with residents, families and team members. Patience, tact, and a willingness to take direction and to work as a team member
