AM Location:
Rose Monahan Hospice Home, Worcester, MA Pay rate $21.00 per hour, plus evening differential
About Us:
The Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester is the first hospice residence in Central Massachusetts. We are a 10-bed home designed from the ground up, specifically for hospice residency. Our clinical staff and volunteers provide medical, emotional, practical and spiritual care for the terminally ill individuals of all ages and care needs.
Hospice CNA Position Summary:
Our CNAs provide personal care for patients under the direction of a licensed clinician. CNAs follow an established Plan of Care following standard precautions Documentation of care provided in a timely manner Carries out duties and responsibilities in a manner that exemplifies excellent customer service in a caring and professional way Maintains strict confidentiality of patient, family, and caregiver information at all times
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required Current Massachusetts CNA certification required Understands, and has experience with, the process of end of life care Successful completion of the required training program which includes a minimum of 75 hours training, competency testing, written skills and 12 hours in-service per year (pro-rated the first year). Ability to make observations of changes in a patient's status.
