Job Summary:

As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing direct care to elderly patients in long-term care facilities. Your duties will include assisting with daily activities, monitoring patient health, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating 2. Monitor and report changes in patient health status 3. Provide emotional support to patients and families 4. Assist with medical procedures under the supervision of a licensed nurse 5. Maintain a clean and organized patient environment 6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification 2. High school diploma or GED 3. Experience working with elderly patients preferred 4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 6. Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients 7.
