Nursing Assistant Job Description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate MALE Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Provide basic life support as needed and respond to emergencies promptly. Assist with phlebotomy procedures under the supervision of nursing staff. Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Document patient care activities accurately in medical records using appropriate medical terminology. Support nursing staff with patient mobility and transportation within the facility. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and conditions. Requirements Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent training is preferred. Experience in critical care or inpatient settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of basic life support techniques and infectious disease care protocols. Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to understand clinical documentation. Proficiency in measuring vital signs accurately. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
