CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Take and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
• Assist with mobility and transfers of patients
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and report any concerns to the nursing staff
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a nursing assistant training program or equivalent experience
• Current certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) in the state of [Maryland]
• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Ability to lift and move patients safely using proper body mechanics
