• Part-time, Full-time We are seeking experienced and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs) to provide quality personal care and support to our home health clients.

You will work under the supervision of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to deliver individualized care that promotes client safety, comfort, and independence. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and mobility (including use of gait belts, wheelchairs, and walkers)
• Measure and record vital signs: blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration, and oxygen saturation
• Perform finger-stick blood glucose monitoring and record results
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding (including G-tube feeding assistance under nurse supervision)
• Monitor and document food and fluid intake and output (I&O)
• Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care environment
• Assist with prescribed range-of-motion exercises
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Observe and report changes in client condition to the supervising nurse immediately
• Assist with medication reminders (non-administration, per CNA scope)
• Provide incontinence care and catheter care assistance
• Assist with ostomy care under nurse supervision
• Perform skin checks and report any concerns (redness, breakdown, bruising)
• Accompany clients to medical appointments as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
• Follow the individualized care plan developed by the RN
• Adhere to infection control protocols and universal precautions
• Maintain client confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Qualifications — Required
• Active, unrestricted CNA certification in the State of Maryland (required)
• GNA certification preferred (required for geriatric client assignments)
• Minimum of one (1) year of recent caregiving experience in a home health, assisted living, or long-term care setting
• Current

CPR / BLS

certification

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition clients (up to 50 lbs)
• Strong communication skills — verbal and written
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered attitude
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Qualifications — Preferred
• GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant)
• Experience with dementia and Alzheimer's care
• Experience with hospice or palliative care clients
• CMT (Certified Medicine Technician) certification
• First Aid certification
