Responsibilities Providing care as directed by a facility nursing supervisor, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, taking and recording vital signs, and assisting with height and weight measurements, if necessary Provide Personal care according to the patient's plan of care, assistance with Acts of Daily Living - bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting/incontinence care, transfers, assistance w/ ambulation Requirements High school diploma or GED Licensed as a Geriatric Nurse Assistant (GNA) in good standing with the Maryland Board of Nursing Reliable Transportation to commute to and from work site Treats clients, staff and the public with courtesy, respect and presents a positive public image Ensures confidentiality and security of the client's medical information Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. $22.00/hr on weekdays, $24.00/hr on weekends
