Job Summary:

Our healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) to provide quality care and support to our elderly residents. The GNA will work under the supervision of registered nurses to assist patients with activities of daily living and provide emotional support throughout their stay.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Assisting residents with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. 2. Monitoring and recording vital signs and health status of residents. 3. Helping residents with mobility and transferring to and from beds and wheelchairs. 4. Providing emotional support and companionship to residents. 5. Assisting with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration. 6. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents. 7. Reporting any changes in residents' condition to the nursing staff. 8. Adhering to all facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification. 2. High school diploma or equivalent. 3. CPR certification. 4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. 6.
