Job Summary:

Crescent Cities Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Geriatric Nursing Assistant to join our dedicated team of caregivers. As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their overall well-being and quality of life. Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with the activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
• Assist with mealtime, including feeding, serving, and cleaning up
• Help residents with ambulation, transfer, and range-of-motion exercises
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition, behavior, or condition
• Collaborate with other care team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a certified nursing assistant program or equivalent experience
• Minimum 0 years of experience in a healthcare setting
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as needed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and their families
