Inspiring Success, Creating Community Full-time Assistant Resident Care Director, Nurse RN/LPN- Job Summary The Assistant Resident Care Director is the right hand to the Resident Care Director in all operations of the nursing department. This position involves a blend of leadership, clinical expertise, and strategic planning to meet the health and wellness needs of our residents. This role fuses together our 'Live Well, Love Life' motto and overall goal of providing the very best care to all residents.
Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-move in resident assessments and relay info to RCD. Have active role in all resident service plan development and ensure plans are followed. Help select, hire, support and mentor RCA staff. Conduct training and in-services for RCAs in accordance with company and state assisted living regulations. Schedule and conduct regular meetings with resident families, in support of the RCD. Provide oversight of the S.A.M.M. program for residents. Provides for emotional and physical comfort and safety of residents.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse completed State-required training . Requires the ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials and the public. Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly. Physically able to move at least 25 lbs. without assistance. Physical stamina and ability to assist residents as needed and in emergencies. Benefits of Joining our
