CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

Summary We are seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at Community Hospice Care. In this role, you will provide essential clinical and emotional support to patients in their homes, enhancing their quality of life while assisting families through the hospice process. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff. Assist with mobility and physical activities to promote comfort and well-being. Support patients with daily living activities while maintaining their dignity. Communicate effectively with patients and families to address concerns and provide emotional support. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols. Requirements Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required. Experience in hospice or palliative care preferred but not mandatory. Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy. Ability to work compassionately with individuals facing critical illnesses. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and families.

Pay:

$17.00 - $24.00 per hour
