Job Description

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) The Maples - Benzie County Medical Care Facility Frankfort, MI Join Our 5-Star Team! The Maples is a county-owned, 80-bed skilled nursing facility located in beautiful Frankfort, Michigan. Position Summary Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) provide direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. CNAs assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, independence, comfort, and quality of life. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene. Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation. Provide meal assistance and monitor nutritional intake. Obtain and record vital signs and other resident information as directed. Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff. Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents. Support residents' emotional and social well-being through compassionate interactions. Follow all infection prevention and safety protocols. Accurately document care provided according to facility policies. Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, families, and other team members. Qualifications Current Michigan CNA certification required. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care. Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed.
