Job Description
Centered Care of Michigan is seeking an experienced and dependable Home Health Aide or CNA to join a close-knit care team supporting a veteran living with quadriplegia . If you take pride in your caregiving skills and enjoy the outdoors, this position offers the best of both worlds — rewarding one-on-one care and time spent outside. About the Client Our client is a veteran who lives independently at home with a friendly dog and a strong sense of adventure. He uses a trach and vent and is supported by a small, stable team including another aide and a nurse. He enjoys gardening, hunting, and fishing — and values caregivers who share his respect for nature and independence. Responsibilities Assist with personal care, mobility, and equipment use Provide companionship and support daily routines Join in outdoor activities — gardening, hunting, fishing, camping, and more Light housekeeping and meal prep Drive and accompany the client to appointments and outings Help with outdoor tasks (yard work, gardening, snow removal) Schedule Night shift 5pm-5am 2-3 weekday shifts + every other weekend and holiday rotation What We're Looking For Homecare experience Enjoys and is physically able to participate in outdoor activities Valid Michigan driver's license, clean driving record, current auto insurance Dependable, team-oriented, and professional Why You'll Love Working Here Consistent schedule and supportive environment Small, collaborative care team Purpose-driven work supporting a veteran's independence Paid training and continuing education opportunities Health, dental, vision, and 401(k) with match Apply today to join a team that values skill, compassion, and dedication.
