Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The CNA will provide essential support to patients across various care settings, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role involves direct patient care, assistance with daily activities, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient care, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and have experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or in acute and long-term care environments. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary. Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature. Support medication administration under supervision and ensure proper documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Provide specialized care for patients with conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or behavioral health needs. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care or phlebotomy when trained and authorized. Support patients during transfers and mobility exercises using appropriate assistive devices. Document patient information thoroughly in medical records while respecting HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in settings like hospitals (including ICU and trauma centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics. Engage in patient education and emotional support to promote comfort and recovery.

$30.00•$32.00 per hour
