Home Care Travel Requirements:
This role involves regular travel between Washtenaw, Monroe, Western Wayne, Livingston, and parts of Oakland counties, providing Home-Based Care. What You'll Do in
This Role:
Are you a compassionate caregiver with a heart for helping others? As a Home Care Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) providing in-home care, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our participants receive the highest quality care. From assisting with daily activities to providing comfort and companionship, your work will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve. Key Responsibilities Provide Hands-On Care in Their Home
  • Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Maintain Comfort & Care
  • Support housekeeping tasks such as laundry, sweeping, and grocery shopping. Support Mealtime
  • Help participants enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health. Keep Things Moving
  • Support mobility, including turning, positioning, and safe transfers. Perform Vital Checks
  • Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output. Maintain Comfort & Care
  • Keep rooms tidy, cozy, and well-stocked with essentials. Provide Responsive Support
  • Respond with kindness and compassion. Monitor with Watchful Eyes
  • Report any changes in conditions to the leadership ASAP. Demonstrate Respect & Professionalism
  • Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.

If selected for the position you will receive a full job description. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise High School Diploma or GED. Must be certified as a Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Michigan. Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance. Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license. Flexibility to provide coverage in the evening and on weekends. Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the elderly. CPR certification is desired or obtained within 3 months of employment.
