Job Description

Every other weekend rotation

Nursing Assistant Registered/ NAR

Director of Nursing $1,000 sign on incentive!! $19.22-$25.87 wage range
Job Summary:
The nursing assistant/registered is responsible for assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) through daily nursing care as described in each resident's plan of care. He/She carries out simple treatment procedures and follows the instructions of the charge nurse. He/She also works closely with the activities department, volunteers, housekeeping, and all other ancillary departments. He/She has contact with members of resident's families. Clarkfield Care Center operates with 3 shifts, so depending upon what shift, and employee is working, the work may involve more of one type of activity then another.
Qualifications:
The State of Minnesota requires all nursing assistant/registered must have satisfactorily completed a Minnesota approved competency evaluation program of at least 75 hours. At completion of the 75 hour program and successful completion of the final test, the nurse assistant will apply for placement on the Minnesota Board of Nursing Registry. The nursing assistant/registered is also required to have an ability to read, write and speak English, and complete and pass a state required background study form which checks for certain criminal convictions or serious/recurring maltreatment.
