Become a Certified Nursing Assistant with Essentia Health - No-Cost Training Opportunity! The Essentia Health Virginia Care Center team is excited to partner with Advanced Minnesota to offer free Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training for individuals interested in beginning a rewarding career in healthcare. This program covers the full cost of education and the certification exam required to become a CNA. Participants will also earn income while training by providing indirect care to patients. CNA Trainee, You Will:

• Assist licensed professionals and direct care staff with personal care tasks based on individualized care plans to ensure residents' comfort.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
• Assist with meal setup, water pass, and other basic personal care needs.
• Provide activities and exercise opportunities as assigned.
• Support residents with psychosocial needs and emotional well-being.
• Observe and promptly report any changes in residents' conditions to supervisors.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with entrance screening and other duties as assigned.

Rate of Pay:

• $15.

00/hour during training CNA wage upon certification, based on Essentia Health Virginia Care Center's CNA pay scale - $19.22/hour base This position is part of a self-directed, cross trained team. Each team member is trained in direct resident care, housekeeping, laundry, dietary, and activity functions following facility policies, procedures, and programs. A holistic approach will be taken to coordinate resident/patient centered care in a home like environment.
