Job:
ACCESS Family Care is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team! This position provides clinical and administrative support across multiple clinic locations. This position will be working with a providers in our Cassville MO Clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with patient intake, including obtaining vital signs, medical history, and reason for visit. Administer medications, injections, and immunizations per provider orders. Perform diagnostic tests, specimen collection, EKGs, and other clinical tasks. Assist providers with minor procedures and treatments. Educate patients on medications, treatments, and follow-up care. Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record (EHR). Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, referrals, and supply management.
Qualifications:
Education:
Diploma or equivalent
Certification/Licensure:
MA:
Certification (CMA, RMA) preferred.
LPN:
Active MO state licensure required. BLS/CPR certification required.
Experience:
2+ year of experience in a clinic or outpatient setting preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficient in English and Spanish, a plus Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with EHR systems. Reliable transportation to travel between clinic locations. ACCESS Family Care conducts pre-employment drug testing in accordance with state and federal laws.
