Part-Time About the Position We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join Douglas Vogt MD internal medicine practice's Preventive Care Team. This role focuses on conducting Annual Wellness Visits and helping patients stay proactive about their health through preventive screenings and assessments. No prior Annual Wellness Visit experience is required. Comprehensive training will be provided for all testing and assessment procedures. Responsibilities Conduct Annual Wellness Visits Complete Health Risk Assessments (i.e. Depression, Fall-risk assessments and Functional status evaluations) Measure and document vital signs, including blood pressure, height, weight, and BMI.
Perform:
EKGs, Vision screenings, Spirometry, Doppler, Grip strength and Gait testing Accurately document patient information in the EMR. Schedule patient appointments and coordinate follow-up care. Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Qualifications Current, active Missouri LPN license or Medical Assistant certification/credential. Strong communication and patient-interviewing skills. Knowledge of medical terminology and preventive care practices. Experience with EMR systems preferred. Ability to work independently and manage patient appointments efficiently.
