Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients across diverse settings. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to nursing staff and deliver high-quality patient care in environments ranging from long-term care facilities to acute hospital units. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Take and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates, ensuring timely documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper handling and adherence to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health interventions Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy, and basic life support during emergencies in acute or critical care settings like ICU or Level I Trauma Centers Document patient information thoroughly in medical records, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards and confidentiality protocols Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, hospice care, or home & community care environments to deliver comprehensive patient service Qualifications Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) with current state licensure or registration Experience working with diverse populations including seniors, pediatrics, individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges, and those requiring behavioral health support Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms for accurate medical documentation Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, infection control practices including aseptic technique and DME (durable medical equipment) management Ability to perform physical tasks involving lifting (Hoyer lift), repositioning patients safely and effectively while maintaining patient dignity and safety Prior experience in settings such as hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities or urgent care clinics is highly desirable Strong communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to caregiving and patient service Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
