Certified Nursing Assistant Gentle Hands Home Care Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential care and support to patients in a healthcare setting. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, monitoring patient health, and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Duties:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
• Perform basic medical procedures such as venipuncture and spinal taps
• Provide specialized care for patients with memory impairments or cognitive decline
• Assist with tube feeding and airway management as needed
• Collaborate with the nursing team to create and implement care plans for patients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

• Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant
• Previous experience in senior care or memory care is preferred
• Knowledge of basic medical procedures and medication administration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
