Kansas City Urology Care is a large urology, oncology and radiation private out patient based medical practice seeking a patient centered Medical Assistant to work alongside our Radiation Therapists treating cancer patients. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work in our busy center. You will help therapists with daily treatment setups and perform administrative tasks along with patient interactions. We strive to deliver exceptional patient care in our outpatient setting. We have two locations within the Kansas City area including Overland Park, Kansas and Independence, Missouri. The position is full time, weekdays, with no on-call responsibilities. Responsibilities include:

Escorting patients Assisting with patient setups. Cleaning and turnover of room. Administrative duties Communicating with patients and family

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required:

High School Diploma or GED Basic Life Support Certification - American Heart Association Excellent communication skills
