Job Description

Overview $2.00 per hours on 2nd shift $5.00 per hours on weekends This would be $7.00 more than base on weekends. Maple Lawn is looking for the right individuals, with the right attitudes to work at our home. We offer a 3 week vacation package, insurance through AETNA at a reasonable price, and a matching 3% 401k for eligible employees that have been with us for 1 year. Duties Monitor patients for side effects and adverse reactions to medications, reporting any concerns to the supervising nurse or physician. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient health status. Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans, particularly for those with dementia or other cognitive impairments. Provide support and assistance to patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety. Uphold strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. Skills Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology relevant to patient care. Experience in acute care settings and familiarity with senior care practices. Understanding of systems related to medication administration and patient monitoring. Ability to work effectively with residents, demonstrating patience and empathy. Proficiency in dementia care techniques and strategies. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional patient care while working within a supportive team environment.
