Apply Today! The Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting resident comfort and dignity, and supporting the nursing team in delivering quality care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, and toileting. Assist residents with eating, drinking, and meal setup as needed. Transfer, reposition, and ambulate residents using proper body mechanics and equipment. Take and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output as assigned. Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nurse. Maintain resident rooms in a clean, safe, and organized manner. Answer call lights and respond promptly to resident needs. Assist with restorative and rehabilitation programs as directed. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents. Assist in maintaining resident dignity, privacy, and rights at all times. Document care provided according to facility policies and procedures. Follow infection control, safety, and emergency preparedness procedures. Attend required in-service training and staff meetings. Perform other duties as assigned by nursing leadership.
