Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide exceptional patient care across all shifts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to supporting patients' needs, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity in a variety of healthcare settings. This role offers an opportunity to work in dynamic environments such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and outpatient clinics. Candidates with diverse experience in critical care, geriatrics, behavioral health, and medical documentation are encouraged to apply. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care while fostering a positive environment for patients and staff alike. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Monitor and record vital signs accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner. Support medical teams by preparing patients for procedures and assisting during treatments in settings such as ICU, emergency rooms, or surgical units. Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sanitation practices. Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory impairments in memory or behavioral health units. Administer medications and perform basic medical tasks under supervision while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans for diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities. Utilize advanced skills such as phlebotomy or catheter care when required to support comprehensive patient service. Requirements Valid CNA certification with current licensure in the applicable state or region. Experience working in various healthcare environments including hospitals (Level I Trauma Center or Level II Trauma Center), nursing homes, hospice care, or outpatient clinics. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or similar platforms. Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices. Prior experience with critical care areas such as ICU or emergency medicine is highly desirable. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting with equipment like Hoyer lifts and providing patient mobility support. Strong communication skills combined with compassionate caregiving approach tailored to diverse patient needs. Additional qualifications may include experience in hospice care, acute care settings, behavioral health support, or working with people with developmental disabilities.
