Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities Assist patients or residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates, accurately documenting all patient information in electronic health record (EHR) systems Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper procedures are followed in compliance with HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health support Collaborate with nursing staff to deliver holistic patient care across various settings such as hospitals (including ICU and trauma centers), long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and outpatient clinics Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and utilizing equipment like the Hoyer lift safely and effectively Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure understanding of care plans and patient needs Requirements Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) recognized by state licensing boards Experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers), nursing homes, hospice settings, or outpatient clinics Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques necessary for delivering safe patient care Experience with specialized care areas including ICU, emergency medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health, or post-acute care is highly desirable Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting patients using equipment like Hoyer lifts and assisting with mobility needs Strong communication skills to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges and support their unique needs Join us in providing compassionate care that transforms lives!
