Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to nursing staff by assisting with daily patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity for individuals across a variety of healthcare settings. Whether in long-term care facilities, hospitals, or community-based settings, your contributions will help promote healing and well-being for diverse patient populations. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using tools like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices. Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates using electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner. Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral health support. Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures such as catheter care and wound management to prevent infection. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care, ICU, emergency medicine, or post-acute settings to deliver seamless patient service. Assist with patient transfers using Hoyer lifts or other equipment safely and efficiently in inpatient or outpatient environments. Document patient information accurately within EMR/EHR systems and ensure compliance with medical terminology standards. Requirements Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state regulations. Experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and vital signs monitoring techniques. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Point Click Care Ability to perform basic life support (BLS) and demonstrate strong patient service skills with empathy and professionalism. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs is highly desirable. Capable of working in fast-paced settings in Nursing home. Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour
