  • Full-time Nursing Assistant Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality care to patients in various healthcare settings.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of patient care principles and have experience in diverse environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care. This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to patient service, and the ability to work effectively with individuals with varying needs, including those with developmental disabilities and dementia. Duties Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Provide support in medical procedures under the supervision of nursing staff. Maintain accurate medical documentation and assist with electronic health records (EHR) systems. Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Assist in mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and progress. Participate in the development of care plans for patients in collaboration with nursing staff. Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times. Experience Candidates should possess experience in one or more of the following areas: Critical care experience or ICU experience Long term care or assisted living environments Hospital settings including emergency medicine or urgent care Working with individuals with developmental disabilities or Alzheimer's care Phlebotomy skills or medication administration Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, HIPAA regulations, and medical documentation practices Experience in geriatrics, pediatrics, hospice care, or behavioral health settings is highly desirable We encourage individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional patient care to apply for this rewarding position as a Nursing Assistant.
